Perfect Bolognese

This is basically just a way to make ordinary shop-bought bolognese sauce taste a lot better!

Ingredients:

- Lean pork or beef mince
- Chopped onion
- Chopped mushrooms
- Chopped courgettes (optional)
- Tomato Puree
- Sundried tomatoes (or sundried tomato puree)
- Generic ready-made pasta sauce (cheapest will do!)
- Soy Sauce
- Oxo
- Worcester Sauce

Method:

1. Fry the mushrooms and onion together in some oil until the mushrooms and onions are soft.
2. Add the chopped peppers (and courgettes) and fry for a couple of minutes - peppers should not be soft.
3. Make sure your mince is finely chopped, then rub the crushed garlic and an Oxo cube into the mince.
4. Fry the mince with the rest of the ingredients over a high heat until brown. Skim off any fat with a spoon.
5. Pour the pasta sauce into the pan and add a large dollop of tomato puree and the sundried tomatoes.
6. Add a splash of Worcester Sauce and the soy sauce to taste.
7. Leave the pan to simmer about 15 minutes.
8. Serve with pasta or wraps, with grated cheese (preferrably parmesan) on top. Enjoy!
