Pork Chops with Onion, Apple and Cider Sauce





Ingredients:

- Pork chops
- Cooking apple, peeled, cored and cut into slices
- Large onion, cut into rings
- 1/4 pint of cider
- 1/4 pint chicken stock (or pork if you have it!)
- Paprika
- Salt and pepper to taste

Method:

1. Fry the apple and onion together in some oil until the soft.
2. Season the pork with paprika, salt and pepper, and grill (or use grilling machine) until almost cooked (a few minutes).
3. Collect the juices from the pork and add these, with the pork chops, to the apple and onion mixture.
4. Pour the cider and stock into the pan and heat for about 5 minutes, or until the sauce begins to thicken.
5. Serve immediately. Especially good with mashed potato!
